I am Jonas Fackelmeyer, a full-stack engineer from Hagen, Germany. I build web and mobile products and take responsibility for databases and infrastructure.
My background
I started with a German apprenticeship in application development, focused on IT security. I then built healthcare software and took responsibility for the technical side of a practice management platform as a founding engineer. Alongside my main work, I develop smaller software projects on a self-employed basis.

- Web and mobile
- Web frontends with React and TypeScript, mobile apps with React Native. My hospital project connects procurement in the browser with scanning and ordering in the operating room.
- Databases and cloud
- PostgreSQL, cloud services and Azure infrastructure were part of my responsibility on the hospital project. In our two-person team, we coordinated frontend and backend together.
- Development with review
- Coding agents support my work. I review changes, tests and browser behaviour. My workflow describes the process and its limits.
